LEOSA Qualifications for Retired LEO

Pre-registration is required through SPD Human Resources. To schedule your shoot time, you must call SPD HR at 206-684-8690 or email SPD_HR_Benefits@Seattle.gov or you may not be able to shoot. HPD HR will no longer process LEOSA credentials by mail; this must be done in person.

LEOSA lines shoot at 1000 & 1400 hours at the SPD Range. Guns must be inspected prior to going on the course. Participants should ARRIVE AT LEAST 45 MINUTES EARLY. The Range will no longer issue duty ammo to LEOSA shooters. Please come prepared with enough ammo to shoot the qualification course of 25 rounds. Ammo can be purchased from the SPAA store.

ALL PERSONNEL WILL REPORT TO THE K-9 CENTER TO BEGIN THE QUALIFICATION PROCESS. YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF YOUR PAPERWORK COMPLETED AND HAVE IT IN YOUR POSSESSION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE QUALIFICATION. SPD WILL ONLY ALLOW ONE QUALIFICATION PER YEAR (EXCEPTION, WILL BE A RESHOOT DUE TO FAILURE).
